BFSL 02 | R, PT, BSPT 1/4 Slot Flat Sintered Bronze Silencer

BFSL 02 slot flat sintered bronze silencer with R, PT, BSPT 1/4 male thread is used to flush mount into opening port of a control valve or air cylinder by screwing the slot; the screen filter element is made of sintered bronze, the thread with slot made of brass. This R, PT, BSPT 1/4 slot pneumatic air muffler is designed to eliminate or reduce the characteristic noise of compressed air during discharge operations. The sintered bronze silencer is used most often on single acting cylinders or valves to prevent dirt and foreign particles from entering ports open to the atmosphere. Brass and bronze construction is non-corrosive and can be cleaned with common solvents.
