Porous plastic silencer uses high density porous polyethylene (PE) body ultrasonically welded to the solid polyethylene (PE) base. Porous plastic silencer is designed to give excellent noise reduction with a minimum effect on air efficiency. Porous plastic muffler is light weight, durable and highly effective for noise reduction without excess back pressure. The polyethylene plastic is completely non corrosive and highly resistant to water and oil usually present in compressed air lines and can be easily cleaned with methylene chloride or similar cleansing fluid.
